Our Villa

At LUST Yoga & Surf we want you to feel at home. Our 5 bedroom villa has has a personal feel, with plenty of spaces for socialising, reading, and of course eating!

Just across the road you’ll find our pool area and Yoga Shala. Relax in a hammock, take a dip in the pool, or join in with one of our yoga classes.

Some evenings we hold communal dinners around our big table. We love to sit down with our guests and enjoy traditional Sri Lankan Rice and Curry, vegan tacos, or Pad Thai!

Whether you want to relax back at the villa, or head out for the evening, there’s always something fun going on.

In our small shop you will find a variety of handmade yoga beads and Malas from the LUST collection.

Breakfast

Breakfast is definitely our favourite meal of the day! Each morning we serve a delicious, freshly made, healthy breakfast. Most of our menu is vegan, and everything is home made with locally grown products.

Vegan pancakes, chia pudding, and the best gluten free bread you’ll ever taste, are just a few choices! All are served with fresh fruit, juice, and your choice of coffee or the famous Ceylon tea.

Some even say it's the best breakfast in Sri Lanka!

Local Area

Our villa lies in the authentic Buddhist village of Ahangama, right on the coast, and close to some of the best surf spots in the south.

30 minutes in a tuk tuk and you'll reach the heritage listed Galle Fort, its boutiqes, cafés and iconic lighthouse. The bustling beach towns of Unawatuna, Weligama and Mirissa, where you will find long beaches, shopping and a variety of bars and restaurants, are also just a short drive away.

Getting around the area is easy: borrow a push bike, rent a scooter, take a tuk tuk, or catch the train or bus for the real Sri Lankan experience!

Sustainable living

Keeping the villa sustainable and environmentally conscious is very important to us. We stay away from plastic as much as possible, and provide unlimited filtered water for all our guests.

The colonial architecture of our home keeps the rooms cool, and most of the time the fan alone is enough for a good night's sleep.

Throughout the villa we use locally produced material and products. We are passionate about supporting small producers here in Sri Lanka, and Ahangama particularly, so many of the things you find in the villa are hand made locally, or by us!

Animal Friendly Home

At LUST we are big lovers of animals! We currently have 3 dogs and 3 cats, all rescue animals, adopted from our friends at Animal SOS. Our dogs especially are very friendly; they get really excited when new guests arrive, and love attention, cuddles and kisses!
